That winter storm that swept across most of Texas caused more than just road issues—it threw a major wrench into the series schedule. Round Three of the Texas Winter Series was originally set for January 17–18, but the Texas freeze had other plans. The event was forced to be canceled and rescheduled for this weekend, which unfortunately landed on the same date as Round Four of the Supercross series at NRG Stadium in Houston. With Supercross tickets purchased months in advance, the overlap was a major disappointment—forcing fans and racers to make a tough call: head to Supercross or go race for a championship at Cycle Ranch. Doing both seemed out of the question… until one individual reached out to the promoters with a creative solution that makes it possible. The Solution? A Luxury charter bus..
A luxury charter bus has been secured and will depart Cycle Ranch at 3:15 p.m. Saturday afternoon, right around the conclusion of the second motos. The bus is scheduled to arrive at NRG Stadium at approximately 6:30 p.m., just in time for opening ceremonies. Following the Supercross program, it will depart NRG at 10:30 p.m. and return to Cycle Ranch around 1:45 a.m. It’ll take some grit, no doubt—but it’s a standout solution to what was shaping up to be a pretty tricky situation.
